RELEX is a fast growing software company developing its own products that help retail companies plan and operate more efficiently. By accurately forecasting consumption of goods, we reduce inventory costs, increase availability and cut waste. One example of this is helping retailers eliminate spoiled food. To achieve this we use our in-house built terabyte scale in-memory database, which stores tens of billions of rows of data. We operate with agile methodologies in autonomous but flexible teams.  

We are looking for a person to be in charge of development of our software development processes and coaching the processes and best practices to Product Development, Product Management and Product Operations teams. We are not looking for somebody to preach us about the theory of Scrum, but somebody to help the teams to put the best ways of working into practice and be more effective. You would be reporting to the CTO of RELEX and work with the 20+ different teams involved in product development. You will be the driver to scale our product development to be the best in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Improve and scale our agile software development process and define what the framework requires from the teams
  • Define common practices e.g. for effort estimation and Definition of Done
  • Own RELEX software development processes, document them and keep the documentation up to date
  • Train & coach teams on RELEX way of working and adapting it to team’s needs
  • Improve the metrics to measure throughput, quality and the effect of process improvements
