We are now seeking to expand our Helsinki-based Fleet Operations Solution (FOS) Web Applications development team’s quality assurance function by a SW Test Engineer.
 

As a Software Test Engineer, you will develop and maintain automated test infrastructure and test sets together with the other team members and Test Engineers. We develop web applications with modern frameworks like .NET (backend) and React (frontend). 
 

Key Responsibilities: 
 

  • Performing team related quality assurance activities and test automation development 
  • Improving and maintaining overall product quality and testing processes
  • Manual testing in cases when automated tests are not yet ready
  • Test cases creation and execution based on requirements 
  • Writing documentation and supporting colleagues
  • Participate in scrum daily stand-up and sprint activities 

 
Knowledge and skills we are looking for: 
 

  • Clear understanding of software engineering concepts and test practices
  • Solid experience with implementing automation tests with a tool such as Robot Framework, Mocha, TestNG or Protractor and related skills and knowledge in Selenium and Git 
  • Experience in quality assurance practices and continuous integration, including test automation and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
  • Excellent teamwork skills plus a proactive and positive attitude
  • Good overall understanding of agile software development processes 
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferred
