Position
In the position of the master thesis worker for GNSS silicon hardware at u-blox you get practical experience in digital baseband signal processing hardware and software. You will work on a computing accelerator for GNSS receiver, developing the algorithms, hardware and software.


Tasks
  • Algorithm development and optimization in the field of GNSS
  • Implementation of the algorithms in hardware and software
  • Integration into a receiver prototype on FPGA
  • Documentation of the development work
  • Master’s thesis preparation
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a master's program for engineering requiring a thesis or capstone project
  • University research focus or class work on one or more of the following topics:
    • Digital signal processing, Systems on Chip, GNSS, or related field
  • Good hardware development skills in VHDL and FPGA
  • Good programming skills in C, additionally C++, Python and Perl are an advantage
  • Strong knowledge in digital signal processing
  • Hands-on experience with Matlab
  • Fluent English both spoken and written
