Qualifications

 

 

 

We are looking for an engineer with an expert level of experience in SoC architecture and development activities. An engineer who can: lead & drive SoC level feasibility studies, define SoC architectural structures, make systematic calculations and understands SoC design, integration, implementation and verification aspects as well as how the L1 or RF SW is run on top of it. You need to have both willingness to study things in detail to complete needed feasibility studies and self-motivated with Drive for Results-attitude to complete your tasks in required schedule. Your presentation and documentation skills must be on superb level. 

 

 

 

You are always ready to share your knowledge and skills among the other people. You are a great team worker, but also efficient on independent tasks. Your English language skills must be on a high level in order to communicate efficiently in our multicultural environment.

 

 

 

Main Responsibility Area

 

 

 

As a member of SoC DU organization you will participate to SoC A&S driven architecture work. You will also have the responsibilities in: gathering needs and requirements for future DFE SoCs, studying the new features and completing feasibility studies for those, specifying SoC level requirements and use cases, defining the content for different development steps and setting priorities for those, understanding the verification and validation plans and providing an architectural contribution to those, continuously improving the architecture development methods and tools, reviewing documents, and creating architecture documentation for SoCs.

 

 

 

Job Description:

 

  • Leading System-on-Chip architecture development and validation activities
  • Preparation and review of related architecture documents, drive ChipSet architecture roadmap.
  • Review of SoC architecture, functional, design and verification documents
  • SoC requirement management, with other DU/BU representatives and Product management
  • SoC content management, and actively driving and collecting the content for the devices at hand.
  • Cooperate with internal customers, system engineers, architects, SoC suppliers and other relevant functions to solve technical issues for quality.
  • Supporting other SoC teams, like: device architects, chief engineers, roadmap owners and ReFA work
  • Support Hw/Sw bring-up and debug

 

 

Additional Requirements:

 

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent      
  • Over 12 years working experience in SoC development or architecture
  • Good understanding of digital signal processing and related mathematics
  • Expert with SoC architecture, requirements and features
  • Understanding modeling and capable of creating high level models to validate architecture decisions and measure bandwidth performance compared to requirements  
  • Good knowledge of SoC design, integration, implementation and verification
  • Excellent understanding of Cellular networks and 2G, 3G, LTE and 5G technology
  • Good understanding of related algorithms, SW and RF HW
  • Team and people management experience
  • Confident on presenting and sharing information
  • Fluent spoken and written English
