Computer Architecture including Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) design and implementation
Digital Signal Processing algorithms and implementation – SoC hardware or software
Compiler Technology
Low level / Embedded SW architecture
Microprocessor emulation, test, and verification
Requirements
A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
You have good understanding of architecture and specification work related to FPGA/ASIC/SoC, or signal processing systems development.
Good understanding of programmable processing architectures, such as RISC and DSP processors.
Solid skills in embedded C and/or assembly language programming.
Good understanding of digital design (ASIC flow)
Fluent verbal communication and writing skills in English language.
MSc or PhD in engineering or computer science or equivalent.
The following additional skills or experience are valued:
Experience with simulation platforms, e.g. Matlab or System C.
Solid skills in embedded real-time software and scripting (Ruby, Python or similar).
Basic understanding of operating systems and agile software development.
