Position
This product integration and delivery role is in the Products Team and is part of the Program Office within the Products Team.
This role is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary agile team to deliver products consisting of hardware and firmware into mass production against the agreed program and priorities. This will often be based on components delivered by other teams. Responsibilities include acting as product owner, planning and scheduling work, especially the activities of departments outside the agile team, keeping stakeholders informed, risk management and liaising with product strategy and system architects to plan the future roadmap. 

Tasks
  • Leading the team
  • Product Owner
    • Prioritising backlog in close liaison with product manager & architect
    • Supported by of a system architect & scrum master
  • Responsible for product creation projects including:
    • Agreeing a Charter
    • Agreeing requirements and their priority within a backlog
    • Risk management
    • Following a product lifecycle
  • Facilitate decisions making – taking a leadership role where necessary
  • Keeping stakeholders informed & involved
  • Working with other teams to manage:
    • Project dependencies
    • Work done in specialist teams outside the agile team e.g. production & quality teams
  • Ensure quality and completeness of deliverables
  • Agreeing the program and roadmap of products
  • Ensure compliance of the team with appropriate proces

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Masters of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Experience in the electronics, defence or semiconductor industry
  • Experience in project management of product creation projects
  • Experience of Agile/Scrum development, in a leadership role
  • Experience of System Requirements Management
  • Organizational skills and drive for success
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Leadership experience and willingness to develop and adapt soft-skill
