As a Team Leader you will be working with development of automotive solutions and responsible of building a new test team for verification of U-blox safety critical products. In this position you will define the test strategy and test process, manage the development of test cases, participate and follow-up the execution of tests and report the results.

You will be working in our growing international multi-site team in charge of positioning product verification and providing evidence of both conformance to international standards, internal and marketing requirements.

Successful candidate needs understanding of both software development and testing process. With your experience in development of automotive solutions you will be able to define testing methodologies to verify functionally safe software as well as work hands on test development. You also have team leading skills and you are able to manage and guide small team of test engineers for developing and executing tests on integration and system level.
 
Tasks:
• Managing, growing and training team of test engineers

• Definition and implementation of functional safety software verification process
• Implementation and execution of tests on code level

• Preparation of test reports and test metrics
• Scheduling and monitoring the execution of specific test activities
• Manage defects and work with developers to get them resolved
 
Requirements:
• MSc or BSc in Software Development
• Team leading skills and experience on project management

• Experience in Functional Safety ISO 26262 standard
• Programming languages and tools:
  • C, C++, Perl, Python
  • Git, Subversion or other version control software
  • MS Visual Studio or similar development environment
  • Jama or other requirement management tool
  • Automated unit testing with Cantata
• Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams, and to solve conflicts
• Good English communication skills, oral and in writing
• Willingness for frequent traveling
