Job Description Looking for Clever Heads! Test and Certification Specialist As Test and Certification Specialist you are responsible of development of product tests and also planning and managing the Certifications of our GNSS products. You will evaluate, develop and execute the automated tests for the new designs/products, and organi s e the certification activities with external test houses. After the tests you will check that test results align with expectations and ensure that the test reports display all necessary information. With your expertise you will also provide interpretation of test results and offer certification consultancy regarding our products. You will be part of the Verification and Validation team, which is responsible for the definition, development, planning, execution and review of the tests of u-blox positioning products. We are a multicultural, friendly and highly collaborative team split between Switzerland and Finland. Your analysis skills will enable you to find issues and work with colleagues to resolve them. And as a team player, you are able to deal with multiple requests, optimizing your daily work according to the priorities you have set with your colleagues. The role is l ocated in Espoo or Tampere, Finland or Thalwil, Switzerland Your Responsibilities
Understanding the new requirements and how to verify them Define and implement test cases for GNSS and FW/HW verification Execute and review the results of automated tests Analyse the worldwide Regulatory and Conformance requirements and evaluate their impact on our existing and forthcoming products. Plan and manage certification activities. Active support to the test execution and debug analysis at the premises of laboratories. Create and provide all certification documents (declaration of conformity, test reports, support documents)
Your Skills and Experience
M.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering Experience in Mixed Signal (RF/Digital) System design on Board level Experience in RF-Measurement techniques Ability to work as a member of bigger projects and distributed teams. Flexible team player. Good English communication skills, oral and in writing Willingness for travelling
Bonus Point
Good skills in Radio protocols and signal processing Experience in GNSS technology and related technologies
