Technology Manager, Telco Services (Helsinki or other)

We are looking for a proven Technology Manager to join our Connectivity services team. 

Elisa’s Connectivity Services operates and develops key core functions in Elisa’s network. Our responsibilities include the lifecycle management of packet and fixed broadband core functions while also participating in developing future products and technologies.  

As a technology manager you will lead and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Fixed broadband core infrastructure. Your role is critical in ensuring seamless broadband services, high availability, and efficient network performance. You will also work closely with other stakeholders in planning and implementing end-user products. 

Your main tasks: 

• Fixed broadband core Infrastructure management: designing, deploying, and managing core platforms, including hardware, software, and network elements. Ensuring scalability, redundancy and security 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect core networks 
• Participating in development of automation tools for fixed broadband core provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance

What we expect from you: 

• Proficiency in Fixed broadband access and core technologies 
• Deep understanding of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, ISIS) 
• Understanding of Fault management and Performance management of operator networks 
• Knowledge of database, remote APIs, virtualization, and server environments 
• In-depth knowledge and experience of service provider networks, workflows, network operations, and service delivery 
• Good communication skills with a natural tendency to co-operate across different teams and vendors 
• You recognize patterns where automation can speed up manual maintenance and you are able to implement that automation 
• You consider troubleshooting a misbehaving system as an interesting challenge 
• Master's or bachelor's degree in Tech or other relevant field 
• Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English skills
