University Trainee, Project and Research Services (two positions)

We are now looking for two University Trainees for the University of Oulu’s Project and Research Services for a fixed-term employment from 1 June to 31 August 2026. The University Trainee must be a student and the traineeship must be eligible for inclusion in the student’s studies (credits).

Position 1:

Job description: The trainee’s tasks include archiving agreements in the contract management module of the Dynasty system. Additionally, the trainee may assist with other data management tasks and provide support for research funding applications, such as reporting and communication.

Requirements: The position requires perseverance, the ability to work independently and accuracy. During the traineeship, you will learn to use the Dynasty system and gain insight into research contract management. As the archived agreements are in Finnish, proficiency in Finnish is essential for this position.

Duration: 1 June – 31 August 2026

Salary: 1687,47 EUR/month

Position 2:

Job description & requirements: The trainee's tasks include various activities related to research support services, such as preparing funding agreements for research projects (information search, communication with project partners and the funder, instructing partners and preparing documents), support activities related to funding applications (summaries of evaluation reports and other materials), communications (intranet news, newsletter, blog) and participation in event arrangements.

Duration: 1 June – 31 August 2026

Salary: 1687,47 EUR/month
