Job Description – Food Production Shift Supervisor

Aromia Oy is seeking a Food Production Shift Supervisor for its production facility. We manufacture food products under our customers own brands. Products, packaging and labelling vary between stores, so the role requires strong production and product information management skills.

The Shift Supervisor plans and leads production during their shift, assigns tasks and is responsible for production progress and meeting delivery schedules. They ensure that recipes, food safety procedures, hygiene requirements, and packaging and labelling instructions are followed.

The role involves managing store-specific product and label information in a database system, maintaining product information in the Synkka system and preparing product specifications. The work also involves Microsoft Excel and an AI-based financial management and production planning application. The Shift Supervisor checks the accuracy of system data against orders, production quantities and deliveries.

We require previous experience in food production supervision, product information and label management, Synkka or a comparable product information system, and an AI-based financial management or production planning application. Proficiency in Excel and the ability to prepare product specifications are also required.

The successful candidate must be able to take independent responsibility for leading their production shift from the start of employment.
