Taxi driver, Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa – Uber & Bolt
Were looking for taxi drivers to work via Uber and Bolt in the capital region.
We offer a permanent, open-ended employment contract. You dont drive as a self-employed entrepreneur, you get all the benefits of a regular employment relationship.
Day, evening and night shifts are available, as well as a weekend-only schedule. Shifts are agreed with you, and your preferences are taken into account in scheduling.
Pay is commission-based and calculated from the VAT-free cash of each shift driven + holiday bonus paid monthly. Tips from customers go fully to the driver.
The fleet is new, with Toyota Corolla Touring models from 2022–2023 available for work.
The role requires a valid taxi drivers permit (taksinkuljettajan ajolupa). If you dont have the permit yet, youll need to obtain it. Please note that the taxi drivers exam is held only in Finnish or Swedish, so a sufficient command of Finnish or Swedish is a mandatory requirement for obtaining the permit. English or other languages do not replace this requirement. The second requirement is a category B driving licence held for at least one year (issued in Finland or another EU/EEA country).
Previous taxi experience is a plus but not required.
We also have an electric fleet on the Taksi Helsinki side + Kela and MPK rides. You can start by driving Uber and Bolt, prepare for the Taksi Helsinki driver training at the same time, and later move on to also drive via Taksi Helsinki.
