Construction Manager

Enersense Engineering Oy is seeking a Construction Manager for industrial and piping projects to join our client’s team in Porvoo, Finland. You will play a key role in leading site activities on a high peak industrial project, running until October 2026, with a possibility for extension to upcoming projects.

As Construction Manager, you will assume ownership of day-to-day construction operations, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality execution throughout all stages of the project. You will be guiding the team through a period of elevated activity and complexity, where strong leadership, planning capability and proactive decision-making are essential.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Coordinate, plan and execute installation and assembly operations on site and in the prefabrication workshop with minimal supervision
• Maintain accurate records, project documents and progress reports
• Schedule and follow up on-site execution works
• Organize and prepare workplaces for installation works
• Manage tools and material supply
• Lead and supervise company staff and temporary workforce
• Manage subcontractors performance
• Responsible for on-site safety organization and ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Support for establishment of welding execution and documentation system
• Support for the establishment of a QA/QC system
• Serve as the on-site contact for customers

Requirements:

• Educational background in mechanical engineering
• Several years of professional experience in managing and supervising piping construction, steel structure and pressure equipment construction sites
• Strong knowledge of site management, including scope, schedule and cost control      
• Confident and professional demeanor with all project stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project experience preferred
• Proven leadership and team-working abilities; experience in motivating staff
• Resilience, flexibility and strong customer orientation
• Good communication skills in Finnish and English
