Enersense Engineering Oy is looking for a Technical Writer with knowledge of thermal insulation for our client in Porvoo, Finland. In this role you will support the development of technical specifications, standards analysis and documentation for industrial projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of insulation solutions for pipelines, equipment and tanks. The position is on part time basis.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
 

• Prepare, write and update technical specifications related to thermal insulation
• Analyse and interpret thermal insulation standards and requirements, both international and domestic (e.g., PSK, EN, ASTM).
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and global stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and alignment across disciplines
• Review project documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety requirements and best practices
• Provide expert support for insulation-related queries, design considerations and quality expectations
  
  Requirements:
   
• Proven experience with thermal insulation for pipelines, equipment and tanks in industrial environments
• Strong understanding of national and international insulation standards (PSK, EN, ASTM or similar)
• Preferably experience from a refinery or petrochemical operating environment
• Ability to independently produce high-quality technical specifications and documentation
• Good skills in analysing and interpreting standards, guidelines and technical requirements
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with multiple disciplines and global stakeholders
• English language skills
