We are now looking for a System Specialist to join our team and contribute to creating success stories for our customers.

As a System Specialist, you will work with Valmet DNA automation systems as part of our skilled team. Your tasks will include individual design assignments either remotely or at customer production facilities, planning and commissioning of lifecycle-supporting update and expansion projects, and problem-solving for customer challenges, either independently or as part of a project team. You will also participate in the continuous development of operations and services.

You will work independently, primarily in Southern Finland, and take responsibility for customer entities. You will actively develop solutions tailored to each site and support our sales by presenting solutions to customers that help ensure the smooth operation of their production. Our customer base mainly consists of paper and board industry facilities located in Southern Finland. All customers have remote access, which we utilize extensively in our operations.

What kind of person are we looking for?

The most important thing for us is your attitude. We will train and onboard you thoroughly, and you will have the full support of our expert team. Based on your experience and skill set, this position can also be tailored to suit candidates with more senior-level experience.

Knowledge of automation or process technology is definitely an advantage. Successful performance in this role also requires:

• Relevant technical education

• Experience in I&E (Instrumentation & Electrical) design tasks

• Familiarity with field devices, fieldbuses, and automation systems

• Ability to communicate fluently in Finnish and English

• Interest in developing your professional skills

• Willingness to travel, mainly within Southern Finland
