We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our Pulp, Energy & Circularity business area. You will play a key part in driving project success through expert contract, claim, and change management.

You can be based in any European Valmet location.

Your responsibilities

• Provide contract, claim, and change management support to major EPC projects in the energy and pulp industries.
• Ensure compliance with customer and supplier contracts, as well as Valmet’s internal guidelines and policies.
• Support risk and opportunity management processes for assigned projects with focus on dispute avoidance.
• Mentor and advise project teams on contractual issues, change requests, and claims.
• Organize and deliver contract management training for project personnel as well as give input to process and tool development.
• Act as the bridge between Legal and Project Management, facilitating collaboration and compliance.
• Review and manage commercial and contractual correspondence, notifications, and claims.
• Participate in negotiations and correspondence regarding claims, settlements, and other contract management matters.

Who is the candidate we are looking for

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering, Construction, Contract Law, or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 15 years of contract management experience in EPC projects within energy, pulp, or oil & gas sectors.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
