We are looking for a highly driven Head of Institutional Partnerships & Business Development to lead our market expansion, forge strategic alliances, and acquire Tier-1 institutional clients globally.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
- Institutional Sales & Acquisition: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle to acquire high-net-worth individuals, family offices, quantitative hedge funds, and traditional asset managers.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships with key digital asset infrastructure providers, including prime brokers, custodians, and major exchanges.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the global institutional go-to-market (GTM) strategy for BASIS.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of institutional prospects, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for our elite client base.
- Market Representation: Represent BASIS at top-tier global financial and digital asset summits (e.g., Paris Blockchain Week, Token2049, TradFi forums) to expand our network and influence.
What You Bring (Requirements):
- 7+ years of senior Business Development or Institutional Sales experience within Traditional Finance (Prime Brokerage, Asset Management) or Institutional Digital Assets.
- A deep, verifiable rolodex of active relationships with family offices, hedge funds, and institutional investors.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital asset market structure, algorithmic trading, and yield generation strategies.
- Ability to articulate highly technical infrastructure concepts to sophisticated financial executives.
- Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and strategic thinking skills, with a relentless drive to close deals.
