Our newly formed Marketing Technology Solutions unit is building next-generation opportunities to enhance digital customer experience, digital marketing intelligence, market-leading design and user-friendliness, as well as pursuing innovation and improvements through increased use of data and AI.

About the role

• Overall responsibility for the design of solution architecture within Marketing Technology Solutions.
• Own part of the IT landscape from an architecture perspective.
• In this role, you will help drive digital sales through fit-for-need architectural solutions for marketing automation, personalization, and digital sales tools.
• Ensure the overall validity of the architecture planning activities, and drive quality and accuracy of the architecture descriptions.
• Ensure proper level of support by technical architects, by consulting and involving the technical architect in issues.
• Ensure solution architecture documentation.
• Ensure that the solution is aligned with the enterprise architecture principles and guidelines, and highlight possible exceptions or alignment risks.
• Collaborate with product development specialists, project managers, and business stakeholders.
• Develop a strong understanding of data flows in Fortum's backend ecosystem.

About you

• You have a background as a tech-savvy marketing professional who excels at leveraging technology to align business goals with implementation. Ideally, you are an experienced Solution Architect with a track record of eCommerce success.
• Great collaboration skills are essential. Your proactive approach makes you a natural collaborator, and you thrive on working with colleagues to achieve shared objectives. This includes interacting effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• You are good at explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to structure architecture and facilitate governance processes.
• Strong experience with data modeling, API integrations, and related technologies.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent).
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in a local language is preferred.
