We are now looking for an Account Lead, Nuclear.
In this demanding and interesting role, you will be leading VTT’s commercial operations towards named nuclear customers and customer groups mainly in Europe, but also globally. We are looking for a skilled and experienced sales professional or person who is keen on developing sales skills in the nuclear sector. Helping our customers succeed and enter new markets is our priority.

The location of the position is Espoo, Finland.
As Customer Account Lead, you will:
- Be responsible for nominated nuclear customers mainly in the Europe region
- Plan sales activities for the named customers in the nuclear field
- Seek new business opportunities among named customers and acquire new customers
- Visit selected trade shows, conferences and other relevant events globally
- Analyse opportunities for VTT to better support customers’ business success by matching customers’ challenges and opportunities with VTT excellence
- Build and motivate virtual sales teams among the researcher community in collectively gaining a clear understanding of VTT’s business environment
- Contribute to VTT nuclear research offering creation and service models together with other stakeholders
- Operate closely with other sales team members.
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge about the nuclear market and customers, and understanding of the different roles of the players in the nuclear sector
- Experience in international consultative sales or willingness to develop sales skills in international business
- A higher education degree, preferably in engineering and/or scientific research
- Adequate negotiation, contract management and influencing skills
- Willingness to develop understanding of VTT-wide technological excellence that match customer needs to create impact
- Willingness for international travel
