The Audio Patent Engineer will build and maintain their patent portfolio working closely with R&D and the rest of the Multimedia Patenting team. They should be able to utilise their technical skills to support other Patenting teams involved in licensing and/or litigation projects. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of audio codecs (e.g. EVS, AMR, AAC, MPEG-H, MPEG-I, IVAS) and preferably some knowledge of Patenting. You will be working in a team with patent professionals located globally.
You should have:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
It would be nice if you also had:
Attendance and contribution to MPEG and/or 3GPP standardization meetings.
