This is a unique opportunity to shape your own role while leading a team of 6–8 professionals. In addition to team leadership, you’ll take on strategic responsibilities tailored to your strengths — whether that’s solution architecture, data architecture, or service management.
As part of our IT Finance Process Domain, you’ll be at the center of designing, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of IT solutions that support Valmet’s finance capabilities.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure our systems are aligned with enterprise architecture and business strategy — driving global competitiveness through efficiency, standardization, and innovation.
Our main location is Tikkurila, Vantaa, but you can also be based at one of our other key sites: Tampere or Jyväskylä.
What you’ll do
Lead and inspire the Treasury and Group Finance Solutions team (6–8 members)
Define your own strategic responsibilities beyond team leadership
Collaborate with business and IT to understand needs and prioritize demand
Align solutions with cross-domain architecture, infrastructure, integration, and data
Own the roadmap and budget for your solution area
Drive lifecycle commitment by supporting our installed base with advanced digital solutions
Promote global best practices and continuous improvement
Foster a culture of learning through lessons learned and process excellence
What we’re looking for
5+ years of experience leading global teams and managing complex finance IT solutions
Degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) from either Finance or IT or other relevant field
Strong understanding of treasury and group finance systems and processes
Excellent delivery management and budgeting skills
Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities
A proactive, accountable mindset and passion for driving change
