Receptionist / Customer Service Employee for a Family-Run Hotel in Enontekiö, Finnish Lapland

We are looking for an enthusiastic, helpful and outgoing receptionist / customer service employee to join our team for the winter season, from late November until early April.

If you love the winter atmosphere of Lapland and would enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with guests from around the world, you may be the person we are looking for!

This is a fixed-term seasonal position from late November until early April. Salary is determined in accordance with the MaRa collective agreement.

Main responsibilities

• Checking guests in and out.
• Providing customer service at reception, including selling drinks and small snacks.
• Providing local travel information and recommending routes and activities.
• Keeping the lounge area welcoming, tidy and comfortable.
• Assisting with breakfast, meal service or small beverage service when needed.

We would like you to have

• A valid Hygiene Passport and Alcohol Serving Passport.
• Fluent Finnish and English.
• Swedish, Norwegian or other language skills are considered an advantage.
• Experience using Hotellinx is considered an advantage.
• The ability to communicate confidently with both domestic and international guests.
• Excellent social skills: you are outgoing, positive and comfortable interacting with different people.
• A genuine interest in winter tourism in Lapland and a willingness to give guests recommendations on activities such as northern lights viewing, skiing, snowshoeing, winter trails and local culture.
• Good physical fitness.

Previous experience is not necessarily required. The most important qualities are the right attitude, initiative and a willingness to learn.
