Seasonal Restaurant Worker - Pancake House Levi

Pancake House Levi is looking for 6–7 seasonal restaurant workers for the winter season 2026–2027!

If you enjoy working in a busy restaurant, like customer service and can remain calm and focused during busy periods, you may be the person we are looking for.

The job

The work is varied and includes customer service, taking orders, preparing and decorating pancakes, as well as other daily restaurant tasks.

All employees will be trained to work both in the dining area and in the kitchen, giving you the opportunity to take part in a wide range of restaurant duties.

Previous experience in restaurant or customer service work is an advantage, but it is not essential. The most important things are a positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn.

The work is physically demanding. Working in the dining area involves moving up and down stairs frequently during the day. Preparing pancakes requires good hand and wrist strength and the ability to handle several pans at the same time – during the busiest periods, up to eight pans.

What are we looking for?

We expect you to be reliable and committed to your agreed shifts. You enjoy working as part of a team, take initiative and are able to remain calm and focused during the busy season.

We mainly communicate in Finnish at work, so you need sufficient Finnish to manage everyday work situations. You must be able to understand work instructions given in Finnish. The job interview will be conducted in Finnish. Perfect Finnish is not required.

English is needed for serving our international customers. Other language skills are considered an advantage.

A Finnish Hygiene Passport (Hygieniapassi) is required for this position. An alcohol serving qualification is considered an advantage, as is a willingness to obtain one.

You must have the legal right to work in Finland and be able to start work on the agreed date. Unfortunately, we are unable to arrange work or residence permits.

The season

We are looking for 6–7 seasonal employees whose work will start at different times between October and December 2026. Some employees will start in October, while others will start in November or December.

We are primarily looking for employees who can commit to the entire winter season from their agreed starting date until approximately May Day 2027. Please mention in your application whether you are available for the full season.

The exact starting date will be agreed individually with each employee.

Depending on the situation, there may also be an opportunity to continue working with us during the following season after Midsummer 2027.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide accommodation for our employees. However, we can assist with finding accommodation where possible.

Salary: According to the applicable collective agreement (Mara TES), based on the position and your skills. Working hours: Agreed individually with each employee. Shifts take place during the restaurant's opening hours, 12:00–20:00.
