Description
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Own the technical integrity of the entire programme and ensure that the individual technologies form a safe, operable and economically optimised integrated system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Define engineering standards and design-basis principles.
· Lead technical evaluation of technology options and supplier proposals.
· Integrate mass, energy, water, gas and by-product balances.
· Direct Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC engineering.
· Manage battery limits and interfaces between plants and packages.
· Define technical guarantees, FAT/SAT requirements and performance tests.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY
· Relevant engineering degree, e.g. process, chemical, energy or mechanical engineering.
· 10-15+ years of process-industry experience.
· Experience with EPC/EPCM projects and coordination of multiple technology suppliers.
· Strong process and utilities understanding.
· Ability to assess technology based on lifecycle cost, reliability and operability.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Biogas, biorefinery, chemical or energy-infrastructure experience.
· HAZOP/HAZID and process-safety knowledge.
· Experience with multi-plant industrial programmes.
KEY SUCCESS MEASURES
· Technically sound and integrated design basis.
· Reduced interface changes and rework.
· Performance guarantees aligned with business requirements.
RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE
We are looking first and foremost for hands-on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.
The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

EMPLOYMENT AND LOCATION
Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
