Description
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Lead preparation and later execution of the biomethanol complex from licensor selection through FEED, EPC, commissioning and commercial operation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead licensor and technology-selection process.
· Own Pre-FEED/FEED and design basis.
· Integrate biomethane, syngas and methanol process systems.
· Develop EPC strategy, contractor selection and major-package management.
· Manage storage, pipeline and export interfaces.
· Lead HAZOP, operability, commissioning and performance-guarantee requirements.
· Provide technical support to offtake and financing teams.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY
· Very senior process-industry professional, typically 15+ years of relevant experience.
· Direct experience in methanol, syngas, reforming, ammonia, hydrogen or comparable large-scale process industry.
· Demonstrated leadership through FEED/EPC and commissioning.
· Capability to lead technical execution of a billion-euro-class complex project.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Methanol licensor / EPC background.
· Mega-project experience.
· Port/export-terminal integration experience.
KEY SUCCESS MEASURES
· Bankable FEED and EPC strategy.
· Integrated biomethane-to-methanol design.
· Safe start-up and contracted performance achieved.
RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE We are looking first and foremost for hands-on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.
The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.
LANGUAGE SKILLS A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

EMPLOYMENT AND LOCATION
Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
