Description
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Lead the cashew nut shell liquid project from feedstock supply and process technology through first-plant execution and commercial product validation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Validate cashew-shell availability, quality and logistics.
· Evaluate mechanical pressing/extraction technologies.
· Establish crude CNSL yield, quality and energy balances.
· Integrate press cake into the biochar / activated-carbon chain.
· Lead EPC/vendor selection, commissioning and performance tests.
· Prepare an optional later cardanol-processing phase.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY
· Experience in vegetable oil, expeller, cashew, oleochemical or related process industry.
· Practical production or project-management experience.
· Strong understanding of mass balance, yield and product quality.
· Ability to build a feedstock procurement chain with local teams.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Direct CNSL/cardanol experience.
· Knowledge of the West African cashew sector.
· Understanding of pyrolysis and residue valorisation.
KEY SUCCESS MEASURES
· Secured feedstock volume and stable shell logistics.
· Verified crude CNSL yield and quality.
· Successful commissioning and product offtake.
RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE We are looking first and foremost for hands-on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.
The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.
LANGUAGE SKILLS A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

EMPLOYMENT AND LOCATION
Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
