Rice Husk Silica Project Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Lead implementation of a high-purity amorphous precipitated-silica pilot using rice husk / rice husk ash and obtain customer acceptance for the product.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Map rice-husk/RHA chemistry and feedstock variability.

· Evaluate controlled combustion/calcination, alkaline digestion and precipitation routes.

· Set targets for SiO2 purity, amorphous structure, BET/CTAB/DBP and particle properties.

· Lead RFQs, pilot tests, laboratory analysis and customer qualification.

· Develop rubber/tyre-grade and industrial-grade product strategies.

· Prepare the scale-up path to commercial capacity.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY

· Experience in silica, inorganic chemicals, mineral processing or specialty materials.

· Strong chemical/process-engineering understanding.

· Pilot and product-quality experience.

· Ability to assess both combustion and wet-chemistry process stages.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

· Precipitated-silica / tyre-industry experience.

· Rice-husk-ash technology knowledge.

· XRD/BET/CTAB and laboratory-analysis experience.

KEY SUCCESS MEASURES

· High-purity amorphous silica consistently achieved.

· Successful customer qualification.

· Validated cost and scale-up pathway.

RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE We are looking first and foremost for hands-on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.

The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.

LANGUAGE SKILLS A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

EMPLOYMENT AND LOCATION

Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
