Work tasks

In this role, you will lead and execute mechanical design for innovative electronic devices and optical sensor systems. You will play a central role in transforming concepts into reliable, mass-manufacturable products, working closely with cross-functional teams in a compact, dynamic environment.

• End-to-end mechanical engineering from initial concept design to final production support.
• Designing small, highly complex injection-molded plastic components.
• Integrating optics, sensors, and LEDs into compact device frames.
• Utilizing airflow and thermal management simulations to optimize product performance and reliability.
• Taking full ownership of the mechanical design department and self-coordinating your daily work.

We are looking for

• Advanced knowledge of injection-molded plastic design for small, complex products
• Good understanding of fluid dynamics (CFD) and airflow simulation
• Strong capability for self-coordination and taking full ownership of projects
• Professional working proficiency in English

It is meritorious if you have

• Knowledge of optics design, particularly lenses, reflectors, or thermal imaging
• Experience designing consumer electronics, wearables, or laboratory devices
• Proficiency in Finnish
