What you will get to do:

A Senior Business Consultant is an advisor to a customer regarding the declarative functions of Salesforce. (S)he ensures customers’ processes and tools are aligned and guides and challenges the customer when needed. (S)he works independently as a project manager even in large projects.

What you will be responsible for:
  • Demonstrate management consulting / business management experience throughout presales discussions and project delivery
  • Articulate business problems of customers, challenge their thinking and status quo, identify & translate problems into specific business requirements
  • Help clients set priorities by highlighting effort-impact relationships
  • Engage with client business and technical staff on a senior level, facilitate business discussions and discovery workshops
  • Steer (smaller) customer projects independently
  • Configure Salesforce and possibly other related tools
  • Support Sales by proactively engaging with customers to identify new projects
  • Understand solution design & deployment cycle from requirement specifications to deployment
  • Influence business practices of customers through sharing of best practices gained through other engagements
  • Act as a respected thought leader in engagements by demonstrating experience
  • Support large projects with senior leadership skills
The skills we are looking for:
  • Several years of experience in one or more of the following areas: consulting, sales, customer service, marketing, project management
  • Deep understanding and experience on Salesforce best practices (sales, service, marketing automation, business intelligence)
  • At least 1-2 years direct Salesforce experience and/or deep understanding in one or more of the following business practice areas: Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing Automation, Business Intelligence, Portals / Communities, eCommerce
  • Thorough understanding of the Salesforce Ecosystem
  • Excellent communications skills, ability to articulate (Salesforce) technology and IT tools in a business context
  • Excellent interpersonal skills / extrovert personality with confidence to engage and drive customer discussions
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Good working proficiency in a local language preferred
