API Portal / Front-end developer
We are looking for a
API Portal developer
to join KONE API services team. In this role you will be responsible for designing and developing API portal to support customers and ecosystem development partners using the KONE API services. As part of a dedicated API team of professionals, you will be working with service designers, developers and product owners developers who all are on the same mission to make the KONE API’s to be at the core of future urban smart ecosystem. The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced and dynamic environment and enable us to deliver improvements quickly.
Role and Responsibilities
Listening to and understanding partners who are utilizing the KONE API Services is essential. Being able to provide all the necessary API related development guidelines and support content for the developers is vital to maintain successful API ecosystem. You will be continuously developing the portal and content to suit the changing needs of the API developers in collaboration with other KONE Technology and Innovation teams.
You will be responsible
- Developing API portal to enable seamless and professional user experience for customers and developers
- Maintaining and sharing API specifications and guidelines for customer developers
- Collecting API development needs from customers into the backlog of portal development
- Using analytics and customer feedback to find new value adding improvements for the API services as well as collaboration materials to support the KONE internal as well as customers and partners
- Supporting high-quality service management and support for the APIs with the whole ecosystem of global partners delivering the different capabilities for API services.
We expect you to have
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with portal development
- Salesforce Community, Mulesoft Anypoint API Community Manager (ACM API Portal) or similar portal platforms, etc.
- API Management (preferably Mulesoft) experience
- Ability to design and create cutting edge front end visual experience
- Demonstrated track record of achievements from previous positions held
- Competence in agile ways of working (e.g. part of DevOps team, etc.)
- Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills (in English)
- Excellent group facilitation and consulting skills.
- Ability to establish structure and simplify complexity.
- Proven ability to work in a virtual, cross-cultural environment
- Experienced hands-on attitude
- Entrepreneurial and target-oriented mindset
