I am Zahed Iqbal and I am leading Data Center Network team in Telia. We are a great bunch of people, and I am super proud of every member of our team. Right now, we are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Helsinki.

Data Center Networks Team is part of Common Products & Services - Platform & Infrastructure unit, responsible for development, operations, maintenance, life cycle management and capacity planning of Datacenter network infrastructures. Common Products & Services - Platform & Infrastructure unit is developing, maintaining and operating our Datacenters' IT infrastructure and internal platforms (private cloud, integration). It plays a key role in delivering production quality and customer experience for continued growth in Telia Company.

Your tasks consist of:

• Technical development, maintenance and operation of Data center networks
• Work closely with engineering and development function within the team
• Work with Life Cycle Management and capacity planning of current Data Centre networks
• Continuous development of current Network production environment to work with multi-cloud environment
• Develop tools and utilities for automation to support daily operation

Who are you?

Competence and experience:

• Technical education (University or polytechnic)
• Network OS skill (IOS, IOS XR, NXOS, ACI)
• TCP/IP Networking skill and security knowledge
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI, AWS (and other cloud technologies), vmware and scripting languages would be seen as merit
• You are familiar with DevOps ways of working and ITIL processes
• Knowledge of DNS, IPAM, Splunk will be seen as additional merit.
