As a Cloud Security Architect, you’ll find yourself helping customers to manage their cloud security via end-to-end automation, auditing, and threat management. You will design secure public cloud implementations and drive the development of Nordcloud's managed security service. Ideally you will also be able to help customers implement cloud ready security operations.

Ideally you:

• have an appetite and a deep understanding for IT security from operating system hardening to penetration testing processes
• are familiar with relevant standards like ISO 27001, ISO 27017 and PCI DSS
• have experience in Solution Architecture
• are familiar with enterprise IT and technical architecture
• are fluent in written and spoken English
• have excellent documentation skills
• have good social skills and a customer service attitude
• are willing to learn and develop yourself

In addition to the above, we appreciate:

• have several years of industry expertise and experience of public cloud environments (AWS, Azure and/or Google)
• are familiar with networking including routing protocols (BGP)
• you have related degree and/or certification, like CISSP
• experience with working in a software development environment is a definite plus
• have an understanding of security in web application, database, and software development processes
• are familiar with DevSecOps practise
• you have worked with Python 3
