Doctoral Candidate in Digital Learning
The Doctoral Candidate will work in the Learning Environments research group at the Aalto Media Lab on the development of robotic telepresence for dialogical and deliberative learning. The Candidate is expected to be interested in to experiment with different materials in embodiment by designing applications that will help in emotional communication and to overcome biases in online communities.
The position is fixed-term and will be filled for 12 months in the department of Media, Aalto ARTS. The starting date is December 15th 2019, or as agreed.
The funded position is intended for an aspiring doctoral candidate, planning to make an application for DA studies within the Department of Media. The position's duties are working full-time on the DA dissertation and participating in other research activities of the Learning Environments research group and the department.
Salary
The salary for the position is 2463€ per month. Aalto University follows the salary system of Finnish universities.
