We are looking for two Proposal Managers to work within Outotec’s global proposal management team, delivering plant solutions proposals for our Minerals Processing business unit. You will be given the chance to work in an international setup and in a central role with Outotec’s global sales, product management, engineering and delivery teams, solving our customers problems with world class solutions. You will be based in the Outotec headquarters in Espoo, Finland.

• Coordinate global teams of technology, engineering, supply, and logistics specialists in preparation of Outotec’s complex minerals processing plant solutions offerings.
• Manage customer Request for Quotation (RFQ) materials and lead scope definition, cost estimate preparation, execution planning, and contractual setup.
• Lead global sub-contractor tendering and support supply teams in research into best cost sourcing.
• Work closely with sales personnel to formulate pricing and customer value propositions.
• Prepare and deliver proposals documentation per agreed deadlines ensuring correctness, quality, and document control.
• Be part of an experienced, dynamic, and global team driven to achieving Outotec’s mission of sustainability.

• 5+ years related experience with a preference to roles in proposal management, project management, and/or sales in heavy industry.
• Suitable academic background with a preference given to degree in related engineering field.
• Knowledge of multi-discipline engineering, cost estimation, and/or large-scale project execution.
• Ability to take initiative and work under minimal supervision as well as under tight timelines and pressure.
• Excellent organizational, influencing, and communications skills.
• Specific knowledge of mineral and metal processing, operations, and/or maintenance a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English skills required. Russian language skills a strong preference. Spanish or other language skills a plus.
• Based in Outotec’s major offices in Espoo, Finland.
