Division Underground Drilling is responsible for development and sales of premium drilling equipment solutions for underground mining and tunneling globally. Our knowledge of underground drilling applications and our customer support ensures optimal solutions for vast customer base. Our strength is to deliver best-in-class equipment solutions that meet and exceed customer safety and productivity needs. We are now looking for a proactive and business-minded Business Analyst to join us. The position will be based in Tampere, Finland.

Your role

In this role, you are part of the division’s global finance team and report directly to the division Business Control Director. Your main area of responsibility is to support the pricing processes (value-based pricing and analysis, net price change (NPC) analysis and reporting, re-pricing) in the division to ensure profitable and sustainable pricing strategies and plans but you will also conduct other financial analysis and participate into process and tool development projects (e.g. profitability reporting) in the division. The role requires close collaboration with product management, engineering and sales teams globally. Your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Value selling process facilitation
  • Pricing process ownership – Price adjustments, NPC reporting
  • Financial Process / Tool / Reporting development
  • Financial analysis

Your profile

You have bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration or equivalent and minimum 1-3 years of experience from financial and management accounting, marketing or business administration role(s). As a master in your area of responsibility, you have the confidence and ability to challenge, influence and guide decision making on senior managers level and providing them financial and commercial advice based on your analysis and with the help of your excellent communication and motivation skills.

You can take a holistic approach but also have an eye for detail. You have a high level of financial analysis skills and are commercially astute with demonstrated business acumen. You are hands on and have knowledge of data management, reporting tools use and development, financial modeling and process development. You get things done in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Working in multicultural and International setting and collaborating with various functions, requires you to be a positive team player with excellent communications skills in English and willingness to travel occasionally (<20% of time).>
