Job Summary:
 

Security Assurance is part of Ericsson Network Security (ENS), a global competence center for security in the Ericsson CTO office. ENS is tasked to support Ericsson to be a prime driver in Security & Privacy. We work with R&D and Global Services, along with all Business Areas and regional organizations – fully end to end.
 

In your role as Manager, External Security frameworks and collaboration you will be a member of a team of enthusiastic security experts tasked to assure product security within Ericsson. This requires constant awareness of security frameworks and requirements globally today and, in the future, and translating those to Ericsson product portfolio.


You are working closely with other technology experts across Ericsson, external partners and vendors. You will also support and drive engagement with external stakeholders in the field of security. This job offers you an excellent opportunity to grow and to work with some of the best experts in the industry. You will be located at our office in Jorvas Finland and report to Head of Security Assurance at ENS.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze regulatory developments and market needs in security of telecommunications systems for both today and the future
  • Translate external developments to internal initiatives in R&D
  • Evaluate the portfolio security posture in accordance to external requirements
  • Identify gaps in compliance and plan for corrective measures together with subject matter experts across the group
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in Group Functions and Business Areas to advance the selected strategy
  • Drive and support organizing international events for internal and external stakeholders

Characteristics of the ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in the field of cyber security
  • Practical experience working with regulatory frameworks and translating them to business
  • Familiar with industry processes in development of standards
  • Knowledge of regulation, processes and current legislations, preferably with a global perspective
  • Attitude to change the world
  • Solid balance of strategic thinking and ability to get things done
  • Self-starter and project manager of your own, always deliver on time
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
  • Innovative, service minded and flexible
