We’re looking for Financial Controller, Group to join our group reporting team in our head office in Nokia, Finland.

As a Financial Controller, Group you will work globally together with financial controllers, business controllers and other stakeholders. We assume you already have experience on working in a stimulating, international business environment and you have an ability and motivation to drive continuous improvement. You can say you have open-minded approach and self-driven working style.

Key responsibilities:
• Take ownership of group consolidation process and play a key role in the monthly group closing process together with global teams
• Ensure compliance with group financial accounting policies and processes
• Develop constantly the quality and efficiency of the Group’s accounting and reporting processes
• Work closely with and provide support to the global cross-functional teams
• Lead and participate in selected finance and accounting development projects
• Monitoring changes to international accounting standards and analyze their impact on Nokian Tyres’ financial reporting
• Participate in the preparation of the financial statements and stock exchange reports in accordance to IFRS
• Co-operation with external auditors

Qualifications:
• A relevant educational background, e.g. a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting
• Group accounting skills from an internationally operating company
• 5-10 years experience in similar tasks
• Good knowledge of IFRS and solid and practical experience in implementing new accounting standards
• Willingness to learn and take part in system developments to drive continuously the process improvements
• Fluent in English, both oral and written, all other language skills are advantage
• Great teamwork and communication skills

You will be based in our head office Nokia, Finland, but traveling at our abroad offices is expected.
