Right now, we are looking for a Core Network Engineer to develop our next generation mobile core platforms across Telia Company footprint with initial focus on Enterprise Local Core Network solutions. I am Søren Stedstrup, the leader of our Data Development team within Service and Core Networks.

Your next challenge?

In our team we develop and design the Core elements handling mobile data and voice sessions within all Telia Company countries in Nordics and Baltics. You will be part of the Data Development team, who is responsible of the development and design of our Data platforms with focus on Telco Cloud, Automation, DevOps and Security.

Key targets and responsibilities for this position are:

• Take important role in setup of new enterprise local core network solutions
• Be part of solution design and discussion with enterprise customer
• Manage life cycle for deployed enterprise solutions
• Ensure secure and robust network service development
• Coordination with commercial functions to design and implement new enterprise mobile network products
• Work in cross-functional and cross-border teams
• Cooperate with our different Core vendors

Who are you?

You possess good communication, cooperation and coordination skills and you want to work in an international environment. You are able to perform your tasks both individually and in a team. You are used to Agile and DevOps way of working. You work in a structured way and you have a strong drive and energy to make things happen.

Your experience:

• Relevant technical education, e.g. Engineer to university degree level
• CS and PS Core Networks competence
  - long experience on how services are designed in Mobile Core Networks       
• EPC- and IMS-competence
  - knowledge of the different mobile technologies. Architecture, functions, interfaces and protocols
• Prefered experience in LCN solutions
• IP competence
  - competence in IP network design, security and routing
• English (excellent written and spoken)

Position is open in Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Vilnius and Tallinn.
