ICEYE is building the world’s largest constellation of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites. The satellites can take images at any time of day – even when it’s cloudy or dark – and those images will let our customers understand the world better and make more intelligent decisions. We launched the world’s first SAR microsatellite in January 2018 and raised over $60M in financing to date.

To support the growth of the company, we are now looking for a Security Engineer/Analyst to be based in our headquarters in Espoo, Finland.

You will be responsible for overseeing and improving security by:

  • Assisting with the security monitoring, incident response and investigation
  • Performing periodic security scans and adjusting configuration based on results
  • Evaluating, architecting and deploying security-focused systems and services
  • Collaborating across teams to implement ideas, develop product and improve application and system security

To succeed on this position you should have:

  • A holistic overview of security engineering concepts including application and system security
  • Experience in IT Security as a consultant, blue team member, pentester or system administrator
  • Experience in working on command line level with operating systems and network devices
  • Enthusiasm to constantly look for flaws in the systems
  • Willingness to learn more about cutting edge technologies and securing space systems
  • Ability to make decisions independently based on provided input and guidance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, team player attitude, analytical mind and problem-solving abilities
