We are looking for a HW Test Engineer with 3+ years of working experience to strengthen our team in Oulu. Your primary tasks will be to develop verification and validation tools and methods for ensuring product quality from product concepting to ramp-up phase. You will be exploring the latest wearable sensor technologies and develop complete test solutions for functional and parametric validation. In this role you will be working closely with the Science and HW development teams.

In this position, you will:

• Design test plans and test cases to validate new products and improve existing products
• Develop test tools and test methods to analyze the functionality of Hardware system
• Perform product verification and validation in lab and field environment
• Prepare and submit reports on progress and status of all testing procedures

We are looking for you, if you:

• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in electronics or in a relevant field of study
• Have at least 3+ years of experience in similar roles
• Experience in hardware testing and debugging, including software interface
• Experience coding in MATLAB, Python, C/C++
• Knowledge about wearable sensor technologies, including development of test instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis
• You are innovative and interested in the latest technologies
• You are initiative and diligent in your work
• Have a good problem solving skills and analytical mindset
• Self-oriented way of working
• Good written and spoken English
