Aalto Science Institute (ASci) international internship programme 2020

The Aalto Science Institute (AScI) is a strategic initiative hosted by the Aalto University School of Science to advance and foster international collaboration and research at the highest level across the fields of science. The key dimensions of the AScI initiative are quality, internationalisation, and collaboration. AScI supports the renewal of research excellence in Aalto by providing a platform and instruments for exploring new interdisciplinary research directions with breakthrough potential.

AScI international internship programme for summer 2020

The Aalto Science Institute internship programme (follow the link for more info) offers undergraduate students (BSc level) from outside Finland paid research assistantships in which they will participate first-hand in topical research,  interact with the premier research groups at Aalto University, and network in an international environment.

Positions are available in numerous departments within the schools of Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Please see the list of available positions here.

AScI participants are usually hired for 12 weeks, which is the maximum length of AScI contract. The typical period of employment is from 1 June until 23 August. The exact timing of the employment should be agreed upon with the hosting department.

Applicants must be at least second/third year undergraduate students in a suitable field at a recognised university. The applicants must have an academically outstanding background appropriate for the proposed internship topic, and an excellent command of English.
