Ongoing review of our top risk profile
In our CSD Business Risk & Controls department we collaborate closely with Group Non-financial risk, who sets the overall policies and frameworks, which we need to execute on in CSD. We work on creating risk dash boards for the CSD Business areas giving them a management overview for their areas, and ensure we discuss and act as a sparing partner on this. We report to Group Non-Financial Risk and ORCO (Operational Risk Committee) on an ongoing basis to review our top risk profile. On a regular basis we face various incidents in the business, where we need to engage and support to ensure the risks are mitigated and solved.

You will be a part of our, working in the Business Operational Risk & Controls team which is an international risk team with 8 employees based in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Tronheim and Vilnius.
Depending on your country of origin, you can be located in any of these countries.


Stratetic direction and front runner in culture and cunduct 

  • Set the strategic direction for risk management in the area according to the Group standards in in collaboration with the Head of area – you are the frontrunner ensuring a strong culture around risk & control management, handling incidents and solving audit and compliance issues
  • Screening of processes and activities to prioritise your overall plan for risk identification, plan the risk workshops in close collaboration with the business, drive and facilitate the risk identification/risk mitigation/risk reporting in the area to ensure an accurate risk profile of strong quality in line with the Group standards
  • Drive and lead local risk and management forums to anchor a strong focus and understanding of risk management, controls and follow up on audit and compliance issues in CSD Financing
  • Drive and facilitate local training sessions depending on the needs in the areas
  • Lead and participate in central development of new risk areas e.g. end to end risk assessment or scenario testing of risks

We expect you to have
  • +7 years of experience in managing and developing non-financial risks and control environments within the financial sector – both at analytical as well as senior management level• You possess the needed drive to establish and succeed with both running and further developing the risk management structures which both are compliant with Group Risk requirements and adds everyday value to CSD Finance
  • You are self starter in setting new things in motion e.g. test effectiveness of controls and report on this, and set a high bar for quality. You plan your work and deliver quality on time in every interaction with stakeholders. The business respects your inputs, and you always act in a collaborative spirit knowing that they own the risk, the process and customer interaction
  • You are proactive and take ownership
  • You are flexible with the changes in the strategic agenda, can act on ad hoc issues and adapt to change
  • You are able to work and navigate in a large organisation, and to communicate with colleagues at all levels within the organization
  • It is a prerequisite that you are strong in English
