Elisa Smart Factory is a new and rapidly growing IIoT business domain, functioning as an individual startup within Finland's leading ICT company Elisa. Our objective is to build smart solutions for manufacturers to help them increase efficiency and optimize production, all based on analytics and machine learning that lies in the heart of our doing. The growth of Elisa Smart Factory is substantial, which is why we are now strengthening our team in Germany with a Sales Director, Central Europe. Your employer will be Elisa Deutschland GmbH, and you may work from our premises in Aachen, Germany, or remotely – wherever you feel most comfortable.

What would you be doing?

Simply put, you will be responsible for the whole sales process in Central Europe. We have gotten the sales up and running nicely in Germany from the beginning of the year and need you to expand and develop our sales within Central Europe and respond to the large demand we are experiencing. You’ll have an independent role where you’re work is guided by your personal goals: number of new accounts and revenue. We have full trust on your work, so how you will reach these goals – it’s up to you.

You’ll be working primarily with large and middle size companies in different industries. Don’t worry, you won’t be working alone. You’ll have the support of our Pre-Sales and Delivery team in Finland, which will help you with contracts, execution and technical pre-sales matters. As we are working with a completely new business, you will naturally have the chance to develop and build the delivery and sales process from scratch.

What do we expect from you?

In order for you to succeed in this role, we expect you to have previous experience from solution selling and acquiring new accounts. You have a relevant academic background, preferably Master’s or PhD from Technical field. You will without doubt benefit from any knowledge or background in the industrial or industrial software industry. Because this position involves close contact with the customers and building new relationships, you are approachable and it is easy for you to build new long-lasting relationships. You feel at home in a fast-paced and agile environment, where we are constantly looking for ways to do things better. You can do business in German and in English.
