As a Chief Data Scientist you will take the lead in our advanced analytics and predictive modeling practice. You are expected to drive our well established advanced analytics to the next level to serve our customers more efficiently. You truly are or aspire to be a thought leader in the area of advanced analytics especially in the domain of IoT and Industrial data. You work with our DevOps teams to ensure their applications are the best in class what comes to analytical features. You work with our customers to educate them in the opportunities advanced analytics has to offer.

Expectations to you

We expect you to be experienced in signal processing, statistics, software engineering or similar. You have potentially worked with large timeseries datasets, or at least understand the constraints of building analytics on-top of large datasets. You are familiar working with Python and R, but you can also highlight the needs for more dedicated analytics tools such as H2O.ai, Alteryx, Databricks, Spark, etc. Experience from other programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, C++ etc is an advantage.

You are capable of communicating with customers as well as internal stakeholders to discuss your ideas and work with subject matter experts to find opportunities.

As a part of our DevOps team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our customers globally at their sites or focus more on developing cutting edge data and analytics solutions together with our Board, Paper, Tissue, Pulp, Energy, Marine and Automation experts. You will be a part of a global, large, fastmoving and energetic team of Data Scientists, Process Analysts, Application Developers, Data Engineers and Service Designers within Industrial Internet which offers an opportunity to develop one´s skills and competence.
