Field Services is enhancing our customer’s business by providing services and solutions throughout the whole lifecycle of an installation. Our Services Workshop experts can perform for example overhauls, trouble shootings, repairs, measurement, and analysis as well as upgrades and retrofits to all our engine models.

We are seeking for a Team Leader, Runsor Service Workshop into the Machine Workshop to lead reconditioning, overhauling and customer services jobs. The position is in Vaasa, Finland in Runsor Workshop. In the future location will be in Smart Technology Hub premises.

Responsibilities 
- Manage operative daily service delivery activities locally within assigned responsibility area. 
- Manage service delivery activities to enable optimal performance of customer installation and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead and coach personnel within own team. 
- Implement assigned actions in order to meet the set targets. 
- Ensure the development of the personnel within assigned team. 
- Work in accordance with business as well as Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines. 
- Cooperate with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Follow up with production and maintenance costs.


Requirements
- Technical education, B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Few years working experience as a superior. Experience of Wärtsilä foreman tools and applications is seen as a merit.                                    

 - SAP-knowledge, especially tasks related to managing production and material, is a must. Ability to use smoothly MS Office tools together with other IM tools in Wärtsilä is seen as a plus.
- Understanding the overhauling process and the way of work is essential, as well as technical knowledge from engines out of portfolio.
- Excellent co-operation skills with other Wärtsilä stakeholders and with customers.
- Excellent team leading skills. At the same time, an independent way of work.
- Systematic way of work and good organizing skills.                                                                                                      

- Ability to work under pressure in workshop environment.
- Good command of English, both oral and written. Workshop every day language is Finnish, so that is a must.                                     
- Willingness to get one’s hands dirty in time to time.
- Valid occupational safety card is required. Other work certificates and operating licences is seen as an advantage.
- Safety mindset in all work performance.
