We are now expanding our Helsinki-based development teams and looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our professional team.

The position is offered on a permanent basis and the successful candidate will be located in Helsinki, Finland.

What will you be doing?

As a Software Test Engineer, you will develop and maintain automated test infrastructure and test sets together with the other team members and Test Engineers. We develop data-heavy Python and Java backend applications with React based frontends in a test-driven manner using DevOps pipeline. 

As a Software Test Engineer, the following will be your key responsibilities: 

• Performing team related quality assurance activities and test automation development 
• Improving and maintaining overall product quality and testing processes 
• Manual testing in cases when automated tests are not yet ready 
• Writing documentation and supporting colleagues 

 
You will shine in this role if you have: 

• Solid experience in quality assurance practices and continuous integration, including test automation and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo 
• Experience with implementing automation tests with a tool such as Robot Framework, Mocha, TestNG or Protractor and related skills and knowledge in Selenium and Git 
• Excellent teamwork skills plus a proactive and positive attitude
• Good overall understanding of agile software development processes 
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferred

 
You will get bonus points if you master some of these: 

• Experience and knowledge in some of the following technologies: Python, Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, Docker, or Kubernetes 
• ISTQB/ISEB certificate
