We are looking for a Process Automation Developer with a main responsibility in designing, developing and maintaining process automations and having a proactive role in organizing trainings, supporting citizen developers and Process Automation Experts. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but also other locations in Finland are negotiable. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Process Automation Developer your work will include designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across business processes. You will be working closely with stakeholders to understand automation needs and build scalable solutions. This position also involves supporting platform operations, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of automation practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using UiPath and related technologies
- Support platform configuration, deployment, and monitoring across virtual environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation needs and provide technical guidance
- Contribute to the development of reusable components, templates, and documentation
- Contribute to the trainings for citizen developers and Process Automation experts
- Organize cross-functional meetings, workshops, and forums to promote knowledge sharing and alignment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation performance and platform stability
- Stay informed about emerging automation technologies and recommend enhancements
The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of Process Automation team with diverse expertise
Requirements for the position:
- Strong hands-on experience with the UiPath platform or other process automation tools
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript, or VB.NET)
- Experience with working with APIs, databases, and integrations across systems
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, with hands-on experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Git
- Experience with building agents is strongly beneficial
- Experience with Process Mining and Communication Mining is considered beneficial

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to share knowledge and support others, including citizen developers and Process Automation experts
- A structured and detail-oriented approach to development and documentation
- Curiosity to explore new technologies and drive innovation in automation practices
- Fluency in English
