Senior Software Engineer

In this agile development team, you would be working as full-stack developer:
- Participating in backlog grooming making sure the user stories are detailed enough for design and implementation.
- Collaborating with OpenText Enterprise Architects that design is aligned with the blueprint of the product.
- Growing to be subject matter expert for the specific microservices you are assigned to.
- Writing great code you can be proud of.
You are great at:
- Analyzing new requirements and recommend the approach to implement
- Implementing new features, and follow-up on them to make sure the land into production and help resolve any issues there if needed.
- Actively participating sprint planning and other scrum team ceremonies.
What it takes:
- Enthusiasm to write good code and understand the testability and delivery of software to the end customers.
- Familiarity of modern non-SQL technologies like GraphQL, ElasticSearch and Cassandra and Kafka.
- Comfortable to work with applications built, tested and deployed as Docker containers.
- Programming skills in at least two of these languages: .net, Java, AngularJs, VueJS and NodeJS.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience working with DevOps based practices with familiarity on test automation, Kubernetes and creating software for SaaS in multi-cloud environments all orchestrated with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Apigee API GW knowledge.
- Familiarity of 12-factor apps' principles.
