VTT – beyond the obvious.
We are seeking to hire a laboratory technician to work on projects involving industrial microbes. The work comprises laboratory experiments in research projects supervised by scientists.
The candidate should have a laboratory technician training and work experience in molecular biology research. Competence in basic gene technology techniques or experience working with yeast or filamentous fungi is considered beneficial. The work requires good reporting skills and good written and spoken English, as well as the capabilities to work as a part of an international research team.
You are precise, skillful in the lab. You work well with other team members, and you contribute to a good working environment.
