We are looking for a Sales Specialist with experience of power systems to join ABB Power Grids Finland Oy, Grid Integration - Service Solutions unit in Helsinki or Vantaa, Finland. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for sales of electric power systems and services within a designated market in accordance with the strategy. You will be involved in building long term customer relationships, managing resolution to specific customer needs among of identifying and developing sales opportunities with your sales and operational team.

Your responsibilities

    Solution and service sales with a focus on selected customer segment and portfolio, mainly to Southern Finland area. Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding and ensure a positive customer experience. Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

    B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electric power engineering with a few years’ experience of technical sales work and/or electric power engineering or project deliveries or any suitable technical education with multiple years' experience of technical sales work and/or electric power engineering or project deliveries. The ability to travel across the Finland, but mostly at the capital area Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills Fluent/native written and spoken Finnish skills Good written and spoken English skills The ability to build customer and stakeholder relationships A service-oriented personality with practical experience of electric power transmission & distribution infrastructure is desired A proactive and self-driven attitude to developing new sales opportunities is an advantage to success Basic understanding of power quality and related solutions is beneficial
